Why aren't they all made in Scotland?Updated a year ago

Scottish wool tends to be a little coarse due to the harsh weather conditions, so is often used in tweeds, carpets and upholstery.

Most British mills these days actually use wool from overseas such as New Zealand. After much research and travelling, we felt the best quality of lambswool and cashmere we could find came from Inner Mongolia, the best recycled wool from India and the best undyed alpaca from Peru. So we chose to make them at source, working directly with our trusted manufacturing partners. We've written a lot more about it in this blog post: Why We No Longer Manufacture in Scotland.
